Blue color

This is a rare condition, the metabolic disorder familial hypercalcemia (blue diaper syndrome) can produce a blue color in your urine, or if you use blue food coloring, the food coloring will also appear in your urine. The blue diaper syndrome is when there is an incomplete intestinal build-up of tryptophan, which is a dietary supplement. If your urine seems blue, consult a doctor.

Dark Brown / Black

The possible causes of dark brown and even black urine that you should worry about are copper poisoning or melanoma. Whatever the case, this is a time when you should consult your doctor.
